Happy Halloween

"Enjoy each holiday through a child's eyes and you will feel giddy and young again!" ~Mama Hen
Little Ladybug has been so excited about everything having to do with Halloween! She thought it was really fun to find a ladybug sitting on my mom's front steps. She told the ladybug that she was one too. Very cute! Tonight we carved our pumpkins and Little Chick could not contain her excitement of it all. She was dancing when we went outside to see our Jack o Lanterns all lit up! I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!

  1. Cutest little ladybug I ever did see! :-) What a darling costume. Little Chick could come and get treats from our door. It might keep me from eating those Junior Mints all by myself!

Tell Little Chick that I love potatoes and carrots mashed together too, with butter, salt, and pepper! :-)

  6. What a darling costume! She is so cute and cuddly looking with all her warm sweaters. I recognize that look on her face when she's feeling the pumpkin pulp. Kids love and hate it at the same time - the feeling is so mesmerizing! Your photos sure bring back a lot of good memories.

Good thing my kids are too old to carve pumpkins. We saw a big black squirrel eating our neighbor's pumpkins the other day and dragging off their decorative corn!

  9. THAT is a brilliant costume!!! I love it so much! Australians don't really celebrate Halloween... and I must admit, I miss seeing all the kiddos dressed up and getting to eat candy corn. (We don't have candy corn here either - boo.) Looks like you're having a great time together! x

  17. So adorable! I think being a ladybug was the popular costume this year. My middle daughter was a costume along with many friends kids and my blogging friends and their kids. SO cute!
